Growing and processing quality grains has been an integral part of Tirlán since our co-operatives first began to join together in the early 1900s to create a better future for all.
Responding to demand for quality produce, Tirlán has become the largest buyer of Irish grains and has doubled the acreage sown to gluten-free crops, reflecting changing consumer choices.
Our state-of-the-art Grade AA BRC-accredited Oat Mill is located in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. The mill is oat-only which helps to reduce the risk of contamination with other grains. Operations can be adjusted to meet the changing needs of food and nutrition companies who are seeking traceable and secure sources of nutritious oats, both conventional and gluten-free, for a range of applications.
