Sustainability Practices

We use organic and local farmers products to help sustain small businesses around the area, while reducing our carbon footprint. All our takeout containers are decompostable, this is extremely important to us, we use down to earth materials, we try to reduce single use by offering a discount on keep cups and travel mugs. We stock eco sustainable products too. We have been involved in a national project of growing Hazel Trees to restore balance and harmony. Our coffee grinds and cardboard were used around the planting areas, with 33 planting sites across the country, and the Hazel Trees planted in the shape of a Triskele. We donate left over food and we reduce waste by planning our menu and getting our orders right. Coffee grinds are given to any customer who wants them. We recycle approx 4 blue bins a week. We grown our own Lettuce and herbs in the summer. Our cafe is always decorated with fresh flowers from a beautiful garden near by.
