Bretland Construction opens HQ in Edenderry

Leading construction company Bretland Construction has opened it’s new corporate headquarters in Edenderry, County Offaly. The official opening coincides with Bretland Construction’s 25th birthday in business. The premier construction company delivers projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. The new headquarters will serve as a central hub for the company’s expanding portfolio of projects and demonstrate Bretland’s dedication to community and regional development.

The new offices were officially opened by Offaly County Council Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Tony McCormack, who said, “I am thrilled to join the team today in celebrating this significant milestone, which also reflects positively on the development and economic growth of the Edenderry area.”

Bretland Construction, 25 years

Founded in 1999 by husband and wife, Fechin and Mary Daly, Bretland Construction has grown significantly into one of Ireland’s most respected names in construction. What began as a small, family-run business has grown substantially into one of Ireland’s leading construction companies. The company now has more than 60 employees. Fechin Daly has over three decades of experience in the construction industry in England and Ireland. He oversees growth, development, and diversification into new markets. Co-founder Mary Daly has twenty years experience in construction and development. She is instrumental in shaping the company’s administrative department. Bretland’s far-reaching projects include large-scale infrastructure projects, commercial, residential, architectural glazing, technology, and heritage projects. At the opening, Deputy Managing Director, Coleman Yates, said, “Here in Bretland, quality is more than a goal; it is one of our fundamental values, ensuring precision and excellence in every project we undertake.”

Recent Midlands Projects

Bretland has just completed 38 social housing units for Offaly County Council in Clara. Another Midlands project includes the construction of 44 residential units at Royal Canal, Ardmore Road, Mullingar, Westmeath. They are currently working on the multi-million contract with Sophia Housing and Laois County Council to build 52 homes and amenities on the former Church and Convent land and buildings on Church Avenue, Portlaoise.
