In 2006, Uncle Bok emerged as a passion project, crafting Boerewors and Biltong for the local South African community in Ireland. From these modest origins, it has grown into Ireland’s longest-established Biltong and Boerewors manufacturer. In 2018, a purpose-built, Health and Safety Approved facility became the hub for their artisanal creations. Handmade with the highest quality meats and proprietary spice blends, each product reflects a commitment to authenticity. The delicate process involves hand-trimming Biltong, marinating to perfection, and meticulous drying, while Boerewors undergoes a spiced, stuffed, and frozen procedure. The gold foil packaging and vacuum-sealed coils ensure freshness, delivering a genuine taste of home to every customer.
